These Monster Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies are not what I would classify as health food. But they are not terrible for you either, and as always include some healthy ingredients. They’re just that big old cookie you NEED when the 5 ‘o’ clock munchies come roaring at you like a freight train. The secret ingredient is a banana, which gives them a banana perfume. You could leave it out, and then reduce slightly the flour content, if you’re not big on bananas.
To make these, stir up your batter using a hand mixer. Add in the cacao powder.
Follow the recipe below to mix your batter well, until nice and thick. If you like more chewy cookies, use less flour. For more cakey cookies, use more flour. Mine are on the cakey side since that’s how I like mine.
Plop the batter on to a cookie sheet. Then roll the clumps into balls using your clean hands.
Using a fork, press twice to flatten the balls. If you like nuts you can press a walnut into the batter on some, and leave some without nuts for those who don’t like them.
Bake at 200C (392F) for about 15 minutes until they puff up slightly.
One. Two. Three. Four. Five. At least, that’s how many cookies were on the plate prior to taking this picture, and the one below…
Three were gone in a flash about 2 minutes later…
Until next time,
